Package Includes:

Certified Pool Operator:

  • As required by New Jersey Bather Code Law, your regional manager would act as the Certified Pool Operator for your swim club throughout the operating season
  • Your Certified Pool Operator would make a weekly visit to your club for manager training and weekly evaluation of chemical balances, safety, board of health compliance, general maintenance, and daily manager training

Management Training:

  • With nearly two decades of combined management experience, we know exactly what your daily managers need to know in order to operate your swim club successfully and safely.
  • We will require your clubs managers to attend a two day management training course before the season begins (Day 1 is Red Cross Lifeguard Management course, Day 2 is CJPM training course).
  • Before the season begins, as well as throughout the summer, we will provide at least 60 hours of ON SITE training for your managers which will be tailored specifically for your facility.

Lifeguard Recertification:

  • Our American Red Cross lifeguarding instructors can recertify anyone on your staff in any of the following certifications:
  • Lifeguarding and First Aid
  • CPR for the Professional Rescuer
  • Oxygen Administration
  • AED (Automated External Defibrillator)
  • Two courses would be offered before the season starts (dates and times TBD)
  • Cost of course and cards not included

Pool Inspection/Risk Assessment:

  • All pools operate with an inherent amount of risk. One of our key goals is to reduce this risk as much as possible. We will perform a risk assessment for your club to determine where your most liable areas are and then provide the board with a written report.
  • In order to open, all pools are required to obtain Board of Health approval. We will inspect the entire facility and explain what needs to be done in order to be prepared for inspection.
  • If the board of health finds any items that need adjustment, we will help to ensure all changes are made as soon as possible

Emergency Action Plan/General Operations Manual:

  • One of the greatest risks a pool can take is to not have a comprehensive, updated Emergency Action Plan and general operations manual for their facility
  • CJPM will create or update your facilities EAP and general operations manual, and ensure that all staff members are familiar with it’s contents

General /Emergency Maintenance:

  • We can complete nearly all maintenance tasks to help reduce repair fees incurred through your pool service
  • Many pool service contracts will charge you anytime you call them to come out, and nearly 90% of the time, these issues are easily remedied by CJPM. By hiring us, we will come out as soon as possible (guaranteed 10 hours or less) to assess and, whenever possible, fix your maintenance issue (up to 10 times per season).
  • If deemed a larger issue, you would have to consult your pool company
  • Cost of parts and supplies not included

In Service Training:

  • Lack of in-service training is one of the most common reasons a club is found liable with almost any swim pool litigation
  • We will conduct two professionally run in service trainings for your entire staff throughout the course of the summer in order to ensure all guards have refreshed and honed their guarding skills (2 hours long each)

Lifeguard and Facility End of Season Evaluations:

  • Many clubs finish out the season in early September, and when it comes time to rehire for next summer, there is no record of how last years employees performed
  • CJPM will work with daily managers to ensure accurate and informative evaluations are completed at the end of each season
  • On top of guard evaluations, a list of recommendations for next season will be typed up and given to the board of directors at the end of each season

Contact Organization:

  • CJPM prides itself on it’s unparalleled organizational skills
  • Many clubs today fall into problems with lack of communication between guards, managers and executive boards
  • We will create thorough contact lists for executive board, pool staff, and important numbers and ensure all parties have the necessary lists
  • We will also create an email chain specifically for staff in order to communicate any new updates in a timely manner
