**Denotes BLENDED LEARNING course.  Blended learning reduces the amount of time you are on-site for the course, but requires you to complete an online component prior to the course date.  The certification is the exact same as a regular certification class that is conducted completely on site.  Email cjpoolmanagement@gmail.com with any questions.

Cost:

$350 plus $35 online fee (cost of pocket mask and book IS included)

Prerequisite:

Must be 15 years of age by the last day of the course
Requirements: Lifeguard certification course is approximately a 25 hour intensive course that will train participants on lifeguarding skills such as water entries, approaches, rescues, head/neck/back rescues, backboarding, CPR, rescue breathing, choking, general first aid and much more. On the first day, participants will be required to take a pretest, which consists of:

  • Swim 12 continuous laps (mixing freestyle and breastroke)
  • Swim 20 yards, diving under 7-10ft of water, retrieve a 10lb object without goggles, and then    tow it 20 yards back to the wall in under 100 seconds
  • Tread water for 2 minutes straight using only the legs

To pass the course, participants will need to pass a 2 part multiple choice test, and perform
multiple rescue and safety skills that will be covered throughout the course. If you have any more questions regarding the details of the course, please do not hesitate to contact Chris directly at
